Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi met today with German Bundestag member and Free Democratic Party's foreign policy spokesperson Ulrich Lechte.

The meeting focused on Jordanian-German relations and ways to enhance them across various fields - according to the Jordan News Agency (Petra). 

The discussion also covered regional developments, efforts to de-escalate tensions, and achieving a ceasefire in Gaza.

Lechte reaffirmed that Germany views Jordan as a pillar of stability in the Middle East. He also expressed Germany's support for Jordan's crucial role in the region, emphasizing that the only path to peace is a two-state solution.
